S. Avagyan Memorial. “Jermuk-2021” International Chess Tournament Kicked off

The Chess Academy of Armenia is organizing an International Chess Tournament Stepan Avagyan Memorial from the 4th to the 14th of June, 2021 in Jermuk, Armenia. The tournament is held in a 10-player round-robin format and is a FIDE category 15 event with an average Elo of 2603.

Time control: 90 minutes for the first 40 moves + 15 minutes for the rest of the game (with 30 seconds increment starting from move one).

The total prize fund is 2500000 AMD.

1st  place – 1 000 000

2nd place – 800 000

3rd place – 500 000

4th place – 200 000
